Why is thing so funny?

Hello guys, today, I'm gonna discuss something that most of us are not comfortable talking about in public. But if any of your friends does it, it is a laugh riot.

Stop here. These are enough of the clues, now start guessing.

Okay, I can't hold on to it any longer. This is post is NOT for the faint-hearted. All of those, please consider parental guidance before proceeding.

Today, I'm going to talk about F A R T. See? Told you..

Alright, my question is, what is the thing about farts that makes them so funny? Well, this question arose in my mind because of an incident.

April 12, 2016

As usual, I reached home at 7. One of my friends was at my place. He is actually a great family friend. So, from now on, whenever I need to  mention him, I will refer to him as my buddy. Now, I was sitting behind him, using my cellphone, checking my whatsapp and facebook when I farted.
It was probably the first time that I farted in front of him (yeah yeah yeah.. Now, many of my colleagues will tease me, " You fart, You fart." My response to them, " Everybody does it, every now and then. LOL"). And he looked at my sister and passed a mischievous smile. This incident made me ponder as to what is so funny about farts.

Fart is one of the few gases that come out of our body, including belch, yawning and gas expelled during exhalation.

I have googled a lot of answers, but none of them served my purpose. I have left links to some of the coolest answers below, so do check them out, but, only after finishing reading this post. Please hang on, just a few more minutes.

The closest answer to my question was

To summarize, farts are funny for the same reason all jokes are -- they show that we're not always in control of the chaos of the universe, and remind us of the terrifying brevity of existence.
And apparently, "some people" includes Chaucer and Rabelais. "

This answer makes me wonder, that, for some people, even fart can teach a lesson of life.

With that note, This is Mr. Minion signing off.
Have a great day everyone.

Poem - Surprise reunion

Hello guys, this is my first post on my first blog. I want to dedicate this post to the poem I wrote on February 3, 2016.

First of all, a short note about the poem.
This poem is dedicated to one of my childhood's very good friend. It is about a reunion that happened accidentally.

Our college's Rotaract Club (Rotaract Club of MSIT) had announced a "Walk For Life" awareness drive on January 31, 2016.
It was a cancer awareness drive, which was the biggest project for the club till that date. I must say, I was really excited about the project. The project demanded a few volunteers by 6 o'clock in the morning, and I was one of them. Many of my buddies told me that no one would volunteer that early, but I was quite determined. That was probably the first time I woke up at 4 in the morning on a non-exam day in my life.

I will now skip to the climax, because I believe that the omitted portion isn't worth telling.
Around 9 o'clock, when the walk began, a really new and weird feeling caught me. I felt I will meet someone after a long time here..

Now you can jump to poem itself..
Happy reading. Hope you like it.

Surprise reunion

An unusual wave of thoughts washed my mental shore,
while I was in an unsung floor.

I'll meet someone long lost
was my intuition.
For me, did god keep that in store?

Don't know why I  faced the road.
Couldn't believe she was my girl next door.

The one I hadn't seen for years.
And yes, my heart was in tears.

Called out her name as loud as I could.
Will she recognize me there as I stood

Sure, as she came running to me.
Hugged me, pampered me;
as she had been years ago

And here I had grown nostalgic,
with her memories,
with memories of school and our childhood

The fun we had together,
the long talks we had with each other.

All of her memories were rejuvenated in my mind;
and that splash of feelings was the best of its kind.

But now she had to go
because the river has to flow

B..bye she said, but I never did,
as my feelings wrapped in a shroud
and she blended in the crowd.

Even now my heart cries,
why do I fear just saying goodbyes?
